Who we are

Crosslist Assist is a Chrome browser extension built for resellers who use Zipsale to crosslist clothing to Vinted. The extension is independently developed and is not affiliated with Zipsale, Vinted, Depop, or Anthropic.

What data we collect

Crosslist Assist collects no personal data. The extension operates entirely within your browser. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information
• We do not track your browsing activity
• We do not store your Zipsale or Vinted login credentials
• We do not log which items you crosslist or how many
• We do not use cookies or analytics

Your Anthropic API key

To use the AI-powered features, you provide your own Anthropic API key. This key is:

• Stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local)
• Never transmitted to any server we control
• Used solely to make requests directly from your browser to Anthropic's API
• Removable at any time by clicking the swap icon in the extension

When the extension calls the Anthropic API, your request travels directly from your browser to Anthropic's servers. We are not in that data path. You should review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle API data.

Listing data

The extension reads listing data (titles, descriptions, photos) from your Zipsale dashboard tab in order to perform crosslisting. This data is processed locally in your browser and sent to Anthropic's API for AI analysis. It is not stored, logged, or transmitted to us.

Third-party services

Crosslist Assist interacts with the following third-party services on your behalf:

• Zipsale — the extension reads and fills in your Zipsale listing forms within your existing authenticated session
• Anthropic API — AI analysis of listing descriptions and photos to determine category, size, and colour
• Vinted — listings are submitted to Vinted through Zipsale's existing crosslisting form

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

Permissions

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

• activeTab — to read and interact with your active Zipsale tab
• scripting — to inject the automation script into the Zipsale page
• storage — to save your API key and mapping rules locally
• tabs — to reload the Zipsale tab when starting a run

These permissions are used solely for the crosslisting automation. The extension does not access any other tabs or websites.

Data retention

Your API key and custom mapping rules are stored in chrome.storage.local until you remove them. You can clear all stored data at any time by removing the extension from Chrome, or by clicking the swap icon in the extension popup to reset your API key.

Children's privacy

Crosslist Assist is intended for use by adults operating reselling businesses. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. As the extension collects no personal data, changes are unlikely to affect you.
